Faith attended school at Zion Lutheran and Kearney Catholic High School. She entered Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska after graduating high school in 1995. Faith returned to Kearney to pursue a degree in business while working for her family at Prairie Hills Golf and Ski Club. After returning to Kearney, Faith started dating Nate Skrdla. They were married August 8,1998 and moved to Denver, Colorado, in the spring of 1999 after Nate graduated from UNK. Faith worked for the Buckle, as a personal trainer and for Pulte Homes. Faith and Nate welcomed their first child, Mekaela in 2001, and Ethan joined their family in 2004 followed by Andrew in 2006. Faith maintained an independent business as an illustrator in From the Heart Stamps.
In 2009, the Skrdla’s moved to Munising, Michigan to follow Nate’s career and to be closer to Faith’s parents. As a mother, Faith supported her children in their pursuits of competitive and traveling hockey, enjoying a trip to Burlington, Vermont with Mekaela in the spring of 2016.
